Our Mission
Texas Music Network
Texas Music Network is social community that connects: Fans, Artist, and Venues together on a single social network specifically for Texas Music . On the Front side musician's can use our platform to communicate with their fans. Venues can keep patrons up to date on bookings.
The "Back Stage" side of our network is limited to Music Industry Professionals. It allows musicians to communicate with venues and other musicians in a private environment.
In addition we offer our Musicians and venues services such as: Our Open Mic Night events, bookings, recording services, and promotions.
Our Story
Texas Music Network concept came about when Scott was a beach bar owner in Florida. Finding the time to leave his own bar to scout for live music was difficult. One day while sitting in his bar he described an ideas to Texas Music legend Mark McKinney. after several cold beverages this concept was born.
After giving up his beach bar, Scott brought his knowledge of bringing crowds into venues. Starting at Shakertins in Austin Ranch he successfully rolled out their unique concept. Soon they began adding venues to their calendars. Through these shows they built a solid list of quality hosting Musicians. Soon TMN began getting calls to book artist from additional venues.
Beginning our second year we produced our first Compellation CD that included Preston Cole, Zach Romo, Mike Webb, and Tommy Joe Wilson. This CD was titled "Made In Texas Played In Texas Vol 1" Since we have gone on to record and produce singles including Brett Stair "I Want My Country Back" (Charted on the Texas Charts).
At least once a year we produce a charity show at a large venue. We were the first show to reopen the historic "Longhorn Ballroom". In 2019 we produced our first show at Billy Bob's Texas. We are currently working on the second show there.
